Programs: Audio Post Production - APP

Advanced Post Production, or APP, is a specialty course dealing with commercial, corporate, film/video and media sound recording.� These classes take over where Sound Arts 101 and Pro Tools Basics left off.� Classes that ask; where did they get the laser gun sound for STAR WARS, how do you record dialogue in a speeding car and how does sound make good picture great, and great pictures works of art?� Post Production & Sound Design teaches current techniques and focuses on the creative technologies that are so much a part of the business.� Using the latest digital equipment, students learn film/video interlock, sound design, ADR (dialogue replacement), foley, studio protocol and pre-production assembly.� Successful graduates will seek employment in audio for film/video production houses as well as television stations and recording studios specializing in post production.
