


Sound Arts 101 is a twelve-week sound recording training course designed to introduce the undergraduate to the fundamental aspects of current audio technology. It covers the physics of sound, audio equipment, signal flow, troubleshooting, production and hands-on audio production and assembly. There are classes dealing with the sound industry, studio politics, professional deportment, and the entertainment and production businesses. Upon completion, graduates will have acquired the tools to serve as an apprentice in a recording facility, production company, or carry on to specialize in specific areas of expertise as offered by APRA.
